The micrometer is a tool that measures the length more precisely than the vernier caliper. The inside diameter micrometer is used for precise measurement of the inner diameter of the object, and the outer diameter micrometer is used for precise measurement of the outer diameter of the object.
The ring gauge, also called the correction ring gauge, is a ring of a specific size and attribute for correcting the shortage of the gauge. The ring gauge is the limit gauge for the shaft. It is mainly used to measure the shaft or other external dimensions of the tolerance class from 1T6 to 1T16. It is not possible to inspect the parts and crankshafts that are machined on the top.
Threaded plug gauges are tools for measuring the correctness of internal thread sizes. This type of plug gauge can be divided into three types: ordinary coarse teeth, fine teeth and pipe threads. Threaded plug gauges with a pitch of 0.35 mm or less, Class 2 accuracy and higher than Class 2 accuracy, and Grade 3 precision threaded plug gauges with a pitch of 0.8 mm or less have no end probes. Threaded plug gauges up to 100 mm are taper shank thread plug gauges. More than 100 mm is a double-handle thread plug gauge.
The dial indicator is a table type universal length measuring tool made by a precision rack and pinion mechanism. Usually consists of a probe, a measuring rod, a shock spring, a rack, a gear, a hairspring, a round dial and a pointer. Mainly used to measure the size and shape of parts, position error and so on. The graduation value is 0.01mm, and the measurement range is 0-3, 0-5, 0-10mm.
